Terms of Service

Passly — Passport Photo Studio · Last updated 15 October 2026

In one sentence: you buy a permanent license to export passport photos from the Passly extension, we process your payment through Waffo, and you can get a full refund within 14 days for any reason.

1. Who we are

Passly ("the extension", "we", "us") is a browser extension for Chrome that helps you crop, check and export passport, visa and ID photos to published official requirements. These terms are an agreement between you and Yang Shouxu, the operator of Passly.

2. What Passly does — and what it does not do

Passly helps you prepare a photo. It does not submit an application on your behalf, and it is not a government service.

3. Your license

When you pay for export, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the export features of the extension. The license does not expire.

Your purchase is attached to the Google account you sign in with — there is no key to copy down and nothing to lose. Sign in with that same account on any computer you personally use, and export is unlocked there too.

4. Price, payment and taxes

5. Delivery

Export is unlocked as soon as your payment is confirmed. There is nothing to download and no key to enter — sign in with the Google account you used and the extension unlocks within a moment.

If you paid before signing in, sign in with the same email address you paid with and the purchase attaches itself to your account. If it does not appear within a few minutes, contact us and we will sort it out.

6. Refunds

If Passly did not do what you needed, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not have to give a reason.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Waffo. When a refund is issued, access under that purchase is revoked — the extension locks again the next time it checks, and that purchase can no longer unlock export. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion, though we will always act in good faith where the product is faulty.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Passly to:

We may revoke access without refund if it is used in breach of this section.

8. Your photos

Your photos stay on your device. Passly processes them locally in your browser and never uploads, transmits or stores them. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail. Because we never receive your photos, we have no ability to recover them for you — please keep your own copies.

9. Intellectual property

Passly, its name, its interface and its source code remain our property. These terms give you a license to use the product, not ownership of it. The photos you process remain entirely yours.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue the extension. If we discontinue the paid export feature entirely, we will refund any purchase made in the preceding 14 days. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The extension is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a rejected application, a missed deadline, travel costs, or fees paid to a third party. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country.
